Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Shenzhen, Himax Electronics specializes in global business, application development, sale, cost-effective engineering/product designing and volume manufacturing in Shenzhen, China.

Applying QCC and CWQC Systems in Every Production Stage
We implement SPC and QS9000 systems, and apply QCC and CWQC in each stage. Now, we have built our own quality reliability lab, with 25 QC personnel and more than 10 QA engineers. About 60% of the facilities are imported from Germany and Japan.

We have 21 to 30 R&D engineers including:

• Dr. John Cheng: PhD of materials science and chemical engineering, BE of materials science and electrical engineering, owns over 25 years of experience in the development of new materials and batteries, acquired over 10 patents and have done 35 technical papers in materials, manufacturing process, and quality control
• Mr. Max Chen: BE of physical chemistry and expert in battery chemistry, process development, and power electronics
